AFRAA in conjunction with IATA held an Introductory Course on Fuel from the 4-5th October, 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya at the AFRAA Headquarters.

 The course was held with the objective to develop capacity among resource personnel dealing with fuel on the basis of Jet fuel as it is recognized that Jet fuel is a specialized field. AFRAA and IATA also seeked to define the strategy and set the next steps for their lobbying campaign against high fuel charges and taxes.

The course was facilitated by Mr. De Oliveira Luis Felipe, Assistant Director Commercial Fuel Services of IATA and was attended by 30 participants.
