 AFRAA was represented by the  Secretary General and the Projects Officer in the recently concluded Aviation Fuel Forum in London, United Kingdom from 28th- 31st May, 2018.This is a biannual event hosted by IATA to discuss technical and commercial issues affecting jet fuel in the aviation industry.  

AFRAA was accorded the opportunity to make a presentation (Commercial session – Economic and Regulatory Changes in Africa and their Implications on the Jet Fuel Market) during this event. The presentation that highlighted; the lobbying efforts in Africa, key developments on African Airports, key industry initiatives like SAATM, Common African Passport as well as jet fuel supply challenges in the Continent, was delivered by the AFRAA Secretary General. The audience gave very good feedback on the presentation and appreciated AFRAA’s efforts in spearheading the aviation agenda for Africa.
