SAFRAN is a
high-technology group, organized in four branches: Aerospace
propulsion, Aicraft equipment, Defense Security, Communications.
Each of these branches, coordinates the operations of its
constituent companies. In addition to its subsidiaries, the
Safran group also has a number of joint ventures and affiliates.
The Aerospace
propulsion branch of SAFRAN Group consolidates all operations
related to the propulsion of airplanes, helicopters and launch
vehicles in the civil and military markets, spanning design,
production, testing and support. Companies in the Aerospace
propulsion branch participate in leading national, European and
transatlantic aviation and space programs.
The Aircraft
equipment branch of SAFRAN Group consolidates all design,
production, marketing and support operations for civil and
military airplane and helicopter systems and equipment.
SAFRAN Group Defense
Security branch operates in the civil and military markets, as
well as the space sector. Its business covers main the following
applications: navigation and aircraft systems, optronics,
drones, air-land systems and equipment, biometric identification
systems, secure transaction terminals and cards with integrated
smart-chips.
The Communications
branch is made up of all of SAFRAN Group
telecommunications-related businesses, including mobile phones,
printing terminals, residential terminals, digital TV set-top
boxes, broadband networks electronic etc. |
