The 40th AFRAA AGA Opening Ceremony was presided over by H.E. Blaise COMPAORE, President of Burkina Faso on 24 November 2008 at Ouaga 2000 International Conference Center. 300 participants attended the ceremony including cabinet ministers, members of parliament, members of the diplomatic corps, members of AFRAA Executive Committee, CEOs and Chairmen of African airlines, representatives of international organisations, manufacturers & aviation service providers, consultants and the media.
