Chapman Freeborn OBC Strengthens Global Standards and ESG Leadership

2026/04/30/ | Press release

As Chapman Freeborn OBC enters the second quarter of 2026, the company continues to build on the strong foundations established over the past year, with a clear focus on operational excellence, digital transformation, and sustainability.

In recent months, Chapman Freeborn OBC has continued to focus on strengthening the operational, digital, and sustainability foundations that support its time-critical logistics services worldwide.

Across branding, digital infrastructure, operational standards and sustainability, this progress reflects a forward-looking effort to reinforce the core elements that underpin global hand-carry logistics.

Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, OBC has prioritized alignment – clarifying its identity, reinforcing service consistency, and investing in the systems and people behind every urgent shipment, ensuring it is well-positioned for continued growth in 2026 and beyond.

A refreshed identity for a future-focused brand

Earlier this year, OBC introduced a refreshed logo and updated brand identity. More than a visual update, the move signals how the company is positioning itself today – modern, agile, and globally connected.

The revised identity highlights precision and responsiveness, while maintaining a clear link to the brand’s established expertise in hand-carried shipments, supporting a stronger and more consistent global market presence.

Strengthening digital presence with a new website

Digital capability has also been enhanced with the launch of OBC’s redesigned website.

The updated platform better reflects the scope of the company’s operations and simplifies access to service information. Hand-carry capabilities, operational coverage, and sustainability initiatives are now presented in a more structured and accessible format.

While primarily a functional upgrade, the new site also reflects OBC’s evolving role – increasingly global, transparent, and digitally aligned with the pace of time-critical logistics, enabling more efficient customer engagement moving forward.

Elevating standards through global courier training

Operational consistency has been further strengthened through the introduction of OBC’s online courier training program.

Initially piloted in the United States and now rolled out more broadly, the initiative establishes a unified framework for couriers across regions. In a business where execution depends heavily on individual performance, standardised training reduces variability and supports more predictable, high-quality service delivery, reinforcing OBC’s commitment to operational excellence as demand continues to grow.

Sustainability leadership: EcoVadis Gold for the second year

Sustainability efforts have continued to gain recognition, with the company securing EcoVadis Gold certification for the second consecutive year.

With an improved score from 76 to 85, OBC ranks among the top 5% of organisations globally assessed for ESG performance, reflecting tangible progress in governance, environmental monitoring, and CSR alignment.

Supported by TÜV-certified carbon footprint calculations, OBC continues to formalise its sustainability framework, while remaining aligned with CSRD and EU Taxonomy requirements, further strengthening its long-term ESG positioning.

Investing in people and operational resilience

Alongside these developments, OBC has continued to strengthen its global team in response to sustained demand for urgent logistics services.

This growth supports faster response times and consistent service delivery. In time-critical logistics, resilience is driven not only by scale, but by coordination, expertise, and rapid decision-making, all of which remain key priorities as the company moves through 2026.

Strategic alliance with Freeze Carbon

OBC has also established a strategic alliance with Freeze Carbon to further enhance its carbon management approach.

The partnership supports improved emissions tracking and more structured decarbonisation planning. As reporting requirements evolve and customer expectations increase, carbon transparency is becoming an operational priority, positioning OBC to meet future regulatory and client demands.

Looking ahead

Taken together, these developments reflect not just a period of consolidation, but a strategic step forward in strengthening core capabilities. By strengthening its brand, digital tools, operational standards, and ESG performance, Chapman Freeborn OBC continues to reinforce the foundations for scalable and sustainable growth, building momentum into the remainder of 2026.

As the company moves beyond the first quarter, it remains focused on delivering consistency, transparency, and responsiveness, while continuing to evolve in line with the demands of an increasingly complex time-critical logistics environment.
