The AFRAA annual awards recognize excellence in service delivery, innovation and competitiveness in airlines, individuals and service providers in the African aviation industry. The Assembly conferred for three award categories, namely: the “Distinguished Service Award”, “Airline of the Year Awards” and “Outstanding Service Award”.

 

Distinguished Service Award

To the Free Route Airspace (FRA) Champions for driving the FRA project in Africa that will continue to result in Air Traffic Management efficiency; Removal of constraints imposed by fixed route structure; Optimized airspace capacity; Fuel burn reduction; Carbon emission reduction and Flight efficiency and flexibility:
